On Wednesday April 6th Year 2 left Leckhampton Primary school and made their way to West Midland Safari Park. We were all very excited and enjoyed spotting the lion signs on our journey.
When we arrived at the park we got to go on our very own Safari. It was amazing! We saw stomping elephants, tall giraffes, huge hippos and even white lions.
After our safari we made our way to the African village. We were the very first school to the see this village, it was fascinating. We looked inside mud huts and learnt that many people do their cooking in one hut but live and sleep in a different hut.
We had an amazing time and lots of us are hoping to go back and show our parents what we have learnt.
