Year Three’s Food Making

Year Three talked about safety when cooking and making food and we learnt about food groups. First we decided what we were going to make and Class 7 agreed to make soup and Class 8 agreed to make sandwiches. Then each table in Class 7 thought of our own soups. Next we had a vote to see which two soups we were going to make as a class. Meanwhile each person in Class 8 designed their own sandwiches. The next week Year 3 made what they were going to make. Class 7 had to be patient because it took a long time to make soup. Everyone in Class 8 got to make their own sandwich. After Year 3 had made their sandwiches and soups Class 7 were allowed to taste the soups and Class 8 got to eat their sandwiches. Everything was delicious!
