Class 9 Assembly

This was an exciting week for Class 9 with the presentation of their assembly on the theme of ‘Generosity’ and a visit from EDF Energy. We had to compete for hall time with both Year 1 and Year 3 so the children did remarkably well to rehearse and learn their lines for Thursday’s assembly.

The story which was chosen to illustrate the value was called ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ by Julia Donaldson. During the reflection the audience listened to a part of the ‘Last Post’ before children shared ways that people showed generosity when helping others in need.
