Year 5 Science Quiz

On 6th December, two select teams of Year 5 children competed in the Year 5 Quiz Club

Inter-school Science competition, held at Balcarras School.

 

Our eight fabulous contestants battled hard against strong competitors to answer some

extremely challenging science questions which even had some of the parents in the audience

scratching their heads!

 

Following an anxious yet exciting 60 minutes of mind-bending science quizzing, our two

teams were neck and neck for first place! In the last 5 questions, Team 1 overtook Team 2

to steal the trophy from their grasp.

 

It was a nail-biting evening for all involved but we are extremely proud of everyone's efforts and the

outstanding team-work evident throughout the competition. Well done to all: Archie, Maya, William,

Rachel, Harry, Will, Louis & Claudia.

 

This means that our 4 champions from Team 1 will go on to compete in the semi-finals, taking place in the Spring term.
