Waiting………….

Not surprisingly we are all getting very excited about Christmas and have been reflecting on the period of Advent as a time of waiting. We have talked about all the things we are waiting for; Christmas presents, Birthdays, going to play at a friend’s house and Daniel finding his feet! The children have written advent prayers and created an advent wreath for our reflective areas.

The children have also been contemplating the idea of a Priceless Present – a gift they could give that doesn’t cost anything, they came up with some lovely ideas; a smile, a hug, love and peace to name but a few.

As our Famous Faces topic draws to a close, we have turned our thoughts to festive characters which you may be able to spot in our Christmas Display! We are also very pleased with our own self portraits which I’m sure you’ll agree look fantastic.

We are putting the finishing touches to our glove puppets – huge thanks again to those of you who have helped us with this!
