Corinium Museum Trip
2nd December 2013On Friday 29th November, Classes 7 and 8 had a really great trip to the Corinium Museum in Cirencester. Both classes enjoyed activity sessions during which they looked at Roman food and cooking pots, made mosaics, dressed in the clothes of Romans living in Britain and played two traditional Roman games, tali and calculi. The children loved the exhibits in the museum galleries, particularly the hypocaust system, the pictures in the mosaics and the Roman soldier on his bunk bed. We hope you like the photos of our day!!
