Egyptian Board Games

As part of our Ancient Egypt topic, children in Year 5 made their own Egyptian board games for homework. As usual, many of these were to an extremely high standard and clearly took a lot of time and hard work! Children took inspiration from a lot of different board games such as Monopoly and Snakes and Ladders. They researched Ancient Egypt and added some extra challenge by including question cards. Once the children had made their board games, we spent an afternoon playing each other’s games which was great fun!
