Visit from the Dentist

Classes 1 and 2 have enjoyed a visit from the dentist! As well as answering questions the children had prepared, Mrs Jones talked to the children about how to brush their teeth.  She brought a giant set of teeth with her, as well as a giant sized toothbrush to illustrate how to brush in little circles, at the front, at the back and underneath too! She reminded the children they should be brushing their teeth for two minutes, twice a day.

She brought some teeth with holes in for the children to have a look at and some x-rays which showed the milk teeth and adult teeth underneath.  The children were fascinated!

All the children in Classes 1 and 2 will keep a teeth-cleaning diary for one week, to help them put into practise everything they have learnt!
