Class 11 Visit Waitrose

On Monday 26th January, Class 11 spent a fantastic morning cooking at Waitrose. We had a great time learning about where our dairy products come from, the importance of these in our diet and even how much cows like classical music! The children all made soda bread from scratch and had the chance to plan a variety of meals in the store. After the session we were lucky enough to taste some milk and a variety of cheeses. The soda bread smelt and tasted delicious..although not all the children agreed!
