Firefighter Visit

The Reception classes have enjoyed a visit from the firefighters. They came to talk to us about the jobs they do and told us what it`s like to be a firefighter. We had prepared some questions for them so we could find out lots of information.

Later we went outside to see the fire engine and we were allowed to climb inside and try on the helmets and masks. We took turns to squirt the water through the hose- we managed to send the water a long way!

We loved watching the blue lights flash and the siren was really loud- we hope we didn`t disturb the neighbours too much!

What a lot of fun!
