Autumn Term 2 Report

The photos you can see are a snapshot of some of the exciting activities and learning opportunities we have been involved during the Autumn Term.

Included are examples of outdoor PE, North American states game, Myself as an Artist, British Values Day, a visit from Dr T Johnson, E-Safety Day and most recently ‘Evolution and Inheritance’.

As part of our introduction to ‘Evolution and Inheritance’ the year group helped create a Loo Roll Timeline from 400 sheets of toilet paper! Square 0 represented 5 billion years ago when the earth first formed; square 104 represented 3.5 billion years ago when the first life appeared in the oceans and so on right up to the present day. The last square, 1mm from the very end represented the last 10,000 years of recorded human history. We hope that this was a powerful and visual way to explain a difficult concept.
