Calling Kenya
9th March 2016On World Book Day, Year 2 had an extra special surprise. Mrs Pinless had arranged for her friend Anna, who is a missionary in Kenya, to FaceTime the children in Year 2. We were able to prepare questions for her about life in Kenya and her work at a children’s home. We watched a short video filmed in and around her compound and even spotted some monkeys playing in the garden! Thank you Mrs Pinless for arranging this exciting opportunity for us as part of our Africa topic.
