Reception go on a snail hunt

Reception are finding out about snails. First we put on wellies and went out into the conservation area. Lots of people found snails. Two snails were big but one fell asleep. Grass, leaves and stones are very good for the snails and we put them in boxes to keep them safe.

We set up a snail race and one of the smallest snails won. The very big snail pushed a small snail out and climbed on the back of another!

We found three gingery, gold and silver jumping frogs when we were searching.
