Year 3 Outdoor Learning Day
17th June 2016Year Three had a wonderful time last Friday; spending the whole day outside the classroom and indulging in fun learning activities in the fresh air. Our activities included a scavenger hunt, which was a firm favourite; whittling twigs to make writing implements then writing with them, which was very successful. Then lastly we had a rainbow palette activity in which the children collected petals, leaves and other scraps from nature. Their challenge was to find all the colours of the rainbow and you will be interested to know that can be achieved within the school grounds. We ended with a peaceful, meditative sketching session. A day enjoyed by all.
