Recorders

Children in Year 3 are busy learning to play the recorder. This term we are focusing on holding our recorders correctly and tonguing to produce clear notes. We are learning tunes using the notes B, A and G and we are exploring where these notes sit on the treble stave. We are also learning about different types of notes such as crotchets and minims and how many beats they last. It requires a lot of concentration and perseverance but we are getting there.
