Sibeal Pounder Visits Leckhampton

On Friday 9th June, we were very pleased to welcome children’s author, Sibeal Pounder, to our school. She has written a series of books about witches and has just published the first book in a new series about mermaids. Sibeal talked to the children in Years 3 and 4 about writing her own stories and then they were involved in their own world-building discussions.  Some of the children put on fish heads to help them with their thinking. Sibeal then signed books for some children. How exciting, to have a book signed by the person who wrote it!
