Year 3 Rock Stars

Year 3 are busy being rock stars in Science this term. We have been examining rocks with magnifying glasses and learning the names of different rocks. We have also been setting up fair tests to discover more about rocks. We have used water to test rocks for permeability and used acid in one of our tests to help us discover whether our different rock samples are igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic. We are learning a lot and having great fun too.
