Year 6 DT Shelters

Year 6 we have been designing and making shelters as part of our DT topic. We used our skills and research from our preliminary activities to make good decisions about our structure. The design brief was to make a shelter for one medium sized egg. Each group had to ensure that their shelter met a set of success criteria:

• to be rainproof for up to 20ml of water
•  to have a specific function
•  to be strong enough to hold 150g-500g
•  to have room for an egg
