Art in Year 2

This term Year 2 are exploring modern, abstract art. This is a new unit of work from the school’s Art curriculum and it has fascinated the children. The children have enjoyed looking at art by artists such as: Joan Miro, Agnes Martin, Jackson Pollock, Piet Mondrian and Mark Rothko. The children are soon going to create their own pieces of modern, abstract art inspired by some of these artists.
