Year 4 Scrumptious Savouries

On Friday 14th September Year 4 visited the Cheltenham Farmers’ Market. This is part of Year 4’s ‘Scrumptious Savouries’ D.T project. At the market the children were tasked with finding out what seasonal produce is on sale now, why the products are seasonal and the benefits of buying from local farmers. The children loved chatting with the farmers and finding out about where they had travelled from and what they were selling. Some children even got to taste some of the goods on sale!

The children are now preparing their own seasonal, savoury recipes to produce at the end of this term. Yummy!
