Anti-Bullying Awareness Month

November is Anti-Bullying Awareness Month. On Monday, Miss Porter led our whole school Worship reminding us of what bullying is and the different forms it can take. Here at Leckhampton we use the word STOP to help the children to understand that bullying is; Several Times On Purpose. We also talked about ways in which you can get help if you feel this is happening to you and what we can do if we see it happen to others.

As part of our work, we ask all of the children to sign a charter, written by a previous school council team, to highlight our commitment to ensuring that Leckhampton remains a safe and happy place for everyone.

As a school we will be reviewing our Anti Bullying Policy in the near future and will hold a consultation meeting with parents in due course.
