Eco Award Assessment

Leckhampton Primary School has been awarded its 3^rd Green Flag. With huge thanks to everyone in the Leckhampton School community for their efforts. A special thank you to the Eco team: the children from Year 2 to year 6 and Miss Porter; Mrs Blake; Mr Kelsey; Mrs Daly and Dr Johnson (our Eco Governor). I also extend my thanks to FOLPS for their contribution to Eco schools through their funding of the Solar Panels.

Eleanor Walker, from the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, spent over 1 ½ hours at the school. She met with the Eco team who made a short presentation before taking her on a guided tour of the school. Eleanor was impressed with the variety of projects underway and the enthusiasm of the team members. She also spent time checking our evidence files. She had some good suggestions as to how the school might move forward. I will be relaying these to everyone shortly.
