For several years Leckhampton CE Primary School has been a part of ‘The POD’, an online programme for greener schools. The Switch-off campaign we have run for the last two years was organised by The POD. Recently they have started producing a POD ezine specifically aimed at children. It contains information, quizzes and interactive activities that children can participate in at home or school.  All they need to register is an invitation code: teacce.

If your child (or you) would like to register it really is very straightforward. The website is: jointhepod.org and then follow the instructions. You will also be able to access much more information. I’ve been reading the most recent edition and there are videos, activities and games to play all of which are suitable for children in KS2.

Please consider involving your children as it is both educational and fun.
