Reception Welcome Service

On Thursday last week, our annual Reception Welcome Service took place at St Peters Church for friends and family of the reception children. The children sang for the congregation and hung pictures of their faces on branches to be kept in the Church. We hope that the congregation will remember the children in their prayers as they start this exciting new venture here at Leckhampton Primary School. The Year Six Choir sang one of our favourite Hymns “I the Lord of Sea and Sky” and we listened to a story reminding us of how important is it to be ourselves and how everyone is special in God’s eyes. The children were presented with “Talk Time” bags which will hopefully get a great deal of use over the coming weeks and months. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the children.
