Sports Hall Athletics Champions

On Tuesday 27th January 2015, Mr Carbin set out with his Sports Hall Athletics Squad to All Saints’ Academy. Leckhampton were up against stiff opposition in Bishops Cleeve, Rowanfield, Warden Hill, Dunalley and Swindon Village.

The squad had to compete in a range of track and field events that included obstacle relays, javelin throwing, triple jump and many more.

When all events had been concluded, the results were collated and verified by the School Sports Network team. With a whopping 292 points scored from all events, Leckhampton were crowned champions and gold medallists!

Leckhampton will now go on to represent the area in the regional competition (Level 3 of the Sainsbury School Games).

A massive well done and congratulations to the whole squad!
