The Wildlife Quiz team competed against Warden Hill and St Edward’s in the Cheltenham Final on Tuesday. A tense, nail-biting competition ensued with Leckhampton taking an early lead. The questions were noticeably tougher and the identification rounds required careful thought. It was neck and neck until the final two rounds when Warden Hill edged ahead with a total of 36 points, with Leckhampton just behind on 32 and St Edward’s on 30 points.
The team remained the youngest competitors, which bodes well for future years and I would like to congratulate each of them for their commitment and effort.
Thank you again to Mrs Maurice and Ms Grover for their help in preparing the team so well.
