Young Leaders

In September I made an announcement in Collective Worship asking for children who might be interested in becoming a Young Leader to meet me in Class 5.  To my delight over 40 children came to the initial meeting! 

The children have shown great commitment and enthusiasm throughout their 6 week training period where they have learnt all the skills required to become a successful Young Leader.  These include patience, a sense of fun, commitment, and fair play to name but a few. 

By mid January the Young Leaders were ready to head out to the playground and work with our KS1 children.  Here they are in action!

I have been so impressed by each and every Year 6 pupil. 

You are all making a big difference to the lunchtimes of our infant children.
